Day 7: 5:30pm - Antibes – Florence (Firenze)
Got back from Monaco last night at around midnight,
and the plan was to hit up the bar, but we were tired so we
only took a quick peek around before leaving. Kind
of funny how I started saying we instead of I,
eh? After making our appearance, I walked Stacey back
to her cabin and she gave me the biggest hug… silly me stopped
hugging back as Aaron came walking through yelling “hot water,
hot water,” but Stace hugged me ever harder. What could I do?
I hugged her back. First the arm looping thing, and now this,
I’d say it was a decent night =) Stef
and Vick should thank her, she’s teaching me how to hug =)
This morning, we left at 8:30 (yay for sleeping in!)
I had 3 chocolate croissants for breakfast, yum. I’ve been sleeping
so good, yet I’m always still tired, no idea why. Before leaving
the French Riviera, we stopped by Fragonards, a local perfumery
where they showed us how soap was made. I ended up buying soap
shaped like a lemon, and some other things, but silly me, I
forgot to pick them up from the souvenir locker under the bus.
We traveled along the coast of the Mediterranean sea and through
tunnels into Italy. First stop in Italy was an Autogrill for
a quarter of a Ham pizza. Only 3 euros, and it was delicious,
just don't get tricked into getting the souvinir bottle which
comes only half filled with soda :P Off to Pisa… again, not
too exciting, we didn’t get to go up to the tower, so instead
me and Stace walked around, saw the shops, and just talked,
no, not about our situation, but just talked. This girl’s incredible,
I just don’t want to mess it up ya know? I can’t seem to get
enough of her! I’ve been sitting next to her on the bus for
the past few days, she’s so cute when she’s sleeping! And her
eyes, so blue! Tonight = Red
Garter.
